Is the 11+ readiness check really free?

Yes. Your child takes the check and you see their readiness score straight away, with no account and no payment. Leave your email to unlock the full subject-by-subject report, which we also email to you.

What does the check cover?

Twenty-four questions across the four 11+ areas — Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning — in the styles used by GL Assessment, CEM and independent-school entrance exams, from straightforward to exam-hard.

How long does it take?

About 15 minutes for most children. There is no time limit, so your child can work at their own pace — progress is saved in your browser if you need a break.

Which year groups is it for?

Years 3, 4 and 5 — the years before the test, when there is still time to act on the result. The 11+ itself is sat in September of Year 6. You choose your child’s year at the start, and the result is judged against where a child should be at that point in their preparation.

How accurate is the readiness score?

It is a snapshot from 24 questions, not an exam result — but it reliably shows which areas are secure and which need work, which is what you need to plan the next few months.
